*WATCH* Match Highlights Omp Utd v Kentstown Rovers

A massive win for caretaker manager Shane Kavanagh, who took the reigns for this match as the gaffer Doyler was away on a well deserved break. In a truly entertaining game of football it would be Kentstown to score first and take the lead, this seemed to waken Omp up as they went close on a couple of occasions before their big centre forward went through and won the ran to the ball before slotting in the equalizer. The same player would also make it 2-1 to Omp as Kentstown did not learn their lesson and were caught out again when the ball was played through and again Arnie would win the race to the ball before going round the keeper and put the home side ahead. Kentstown responded and whipped a coulpe of great balls into the box but just fell short of getting on the end of them. 2-1 at the break.

Kentstown came out of the traps quickest in the 2nd half and Omp had their keeper to thank for keeping them in the lead when he saved with his feet from short range to turn the ball out for a corner, again Kentstown just could not find the finishing touches to some good build up play and crosses in to the box, They would be punished for this as Omp scored their 3rd when Paul Cunningham scored a brilliant free kick into the top bins to make it 3-1. Kentstown did not lie down and continued to put pressure on the Omp backline and it would pay off as Derek Bownes scored a great goal to make it 3-2 and set up a cracking finish to the game, both teams continued to have some half chances but another goal would not did not come and the 3 points would go to Omp who keep the pressure on the 2 teams ahead of them.
